Keep
your property insect free with Bye
Bye Bugs Of Florida Ultimate Automatic
Outdoor Insect Control System.
All
our Chemicals are EPA registered!
Whether you
choose to use our professional installation
or you'd rather do it yourself, after
the spray unit is installed, it works
for you 24 hours each day, by spraying
a fine mist of pyrethrin based solution
at your desired time settings to effectively
kill and prohibit the re-infestation
of the insects. It also, has a hand
timer that allows you to spray any
time there is a need. Our machine
rids the outside of your home or barn
or other structure of bugs, mosquitoes,
spiders, wasps, and insects.
The nozzles that spray chemical are
placed approximately 8 to 12 feet
apart, just inside the facer board,
under the eave of your home or other
structure. For horse barns, they are,
also, placed inside the barn, among
the rafters. The nozzles are all pressure
sensitive; they all start spraying
at the same time, to assure uniform
coverage. One Unit can be installed
to protect your barn or your dog kennel,
along with your home. The system consists
of very high quality components: consisting
of the pump, motor, timer, reservoir,
misting nozzles, tubing, accessories
and of course the EPA registered,
biodegradable insecticide.
The Bye Bye
Bugs Of Florida system is very flexible
and can be easily moved or changed
if modifications are required

Ultimate Automatic Outdoor Insect
Control System
The
Ultimate is an automatic insect control
system that has proven to be very popular
for outdoor recreational areas such
as pools, patios, and backyards, and
is a vital option for livestock facilities
The Ultimate with its very high control
rate is effective and completely automatic.
The Ultimate gives a synchronized spray
that evenly distributes coverage of
insecticide over an entire area during
each timed spray duration. The Ultimate
systems can be installed conveniently
at the time of new construction, when
additions are added or in already existing
areas to effectively reduce insect populations.
The Ultimate system can easily be expanded
to accommodate growth.
Our timers
are very user friendly. They combine
the ultimate in reliability and ease
of use. The gasketed enclosure door
keeps dust and dirt out.
Our nozzle
assemblies provide accurate delivery
of insecticide. Every nozzle has a
built-in check-valve that closes at
60 psi to eliminate dripping. Our
nozzle assemblies come standard with
1/4" Presto-Loc brass fittings,
as shown to the left.
We
use positive displacement pumps that
provide accurate high pressure as well
as quiet, reliable service.
Our float assembly
consists of a switch inside the barrel
to provide accurate low liquid level
sensing. This float shuts the system
down when the reservoir is low - to
protect the pump. A 100 mesh suction
filter is standard on all systems.
We
offer a wide assortment and variety
of fittings available to complete the
installation.
Here are just a few areas
The Ultimate systems

Pyrethrum
Pyrethrum,
a natural insecticide extracted
from chrysanthemum flowers.
And, as opposed to synthetic pyrethroids
such as permethrin or resmethrin,
insects do not build up immunity
to pyrethrum so the killing effect
will not diminish over time. It
is also biodegradable - after the
spray has done its work it degrades
leaving no residual matter. Pyrethrum
is EPA registered and USDA accepted
for use in human food processing
facilities so you know it is not
only safe for you but also for your
animals.
Pyrethrum
is the most effective and efficient
means for controlling insects while
maintaining a safe environment for
you and your animals. It also aids
in the control of disease carried
by insect vectors thereby reducing
the spread of infections and contamination.
Pyrethrum
(Tanacetum Coccineum)
Introduction
Pyrethrum is one of the most important
cash crops of Kenya, Africa.
It belongs to the family composite.
It is grown on small plots of approximately
one to one and a half hectares of
land. One may see pyrethrum in most
of the small plots in Githunguri
and Limuru divisions. Other pyrethrum
producing areas include Kisii and
Nakuru district.
Growing
Conditions
Pyrethrum grows well in areas with
fairly high rainfall of about 1000
to 1500 mm, dry spells during flowering
and harvesting, warm temperatures
moderated by altitude, best in high
altitudes averaging 1,800 m above
sea level. The soils should be rich
volcanic and well drained –
well limed soils are also ideal for
growing of the crop. Harvesting is
done by hand and thus the need for
cheap labor.
Pyrethrum
Growing in Kenya
Pyrethrum is grown in the Kenya
Highlands of Nakuru, Laikipia, Kisii,
Kiambu and Bomet.
The pyrethrum seeds are first cultivated
in nurseries then transplanted to
plots. They have to be kept weed-free.
The maturity of the plant is approximately
one year, therefore picking is done
fortnightly and may go on for years.
Flowers are picked and dried under
the sun or in oven burners. The
flowers are bagged and transported
to factories for processing. In
the factory, the pyrethrum is crushed
into powder and subsequently into
active liquid form, containerized
for export or local use.
Knockdown Effects
Because of its safety, pyrethrum
has long been preferred for household
and agricultural application. Recent
research is revealing new power
and new uses for this old and trusted
insecticide. Combined with a synergist,
natural pyrethrums are one of the
fastest acting insecticides known.
Even before it kills, it knocks
down and paralyzes insects almost
immediately. When it encounters
pyrethrum, the insect is thrown
into a state of nervous disorder.
It runs from its hiding place and
scuttles around erratically, or
adopts a confused flight pattern.
Both responses show that the insect
has lost all control of its central
nervous system. This contact effect
is called activation. Recent practice
exploits the activation effect by
adding small amounts of pyrethrum
to a routine residual agricultural
formulation. Pyrethrum activates
hidden insects, driving them from
Cover and into contact with the
main insecticide. This "flushing"
action has been most successful
in the control of such hard to hit
pests as the cotton bollworm and
the gypsy moth.
Jamming
Recently, researchers have identified
a subtle effect that occurs even
before activation takes place, jamming.
The jamming phenomenon suggests
new uses for pyrethrum in the battle
against malaria. To show how jamming
works, you need only a cage full
of voracious female mosquitoes and
some extremely brave volunteers.
Those who put their bare arms in
the cage can expect to get some
20 to 50 bites per minute. But,
if the cage is exposed to trace
amounts of pyrethrum for only five
minutes and the arm is then reinserted,
no bites are recorded, even though
the insects otherwise seem completely
normal. Apparently small amounts
of pyrethrum can jam the "black
box" of the insect's food searching
mechanism. The insects forget to
eat, as it were. Because of this
effect, low level pyrethrum applications
have been shown to reduce the risk
of malaria carried by indoor mosquitoes.
Resistance
There's more to pyrethrum's bag of
tricks. The reason is not fully understood,
but insects do not become resistant
to natural pyrethrum. After decades
of use, no insect population has ever
developed significant pyrethrum resistance.
Intense study of the pyrethrum molecule
has produced the related synthetic
materials, pyrethriods. But so far,
science has not devised a synthetic
that combines the speed, effectiveness,
activation effects and biodegradability
of natural pyrethrum.
Permethrin
Permethrin
is a low odor synthetic pyrethroid
(similar to Pyrethrum) product we
find very effective for mosquito
and flying insect control, particularly
when a customer might be allergic
to botanical pyrethrum.
In
fact, the CDC (National Center for
Disease Control) recommends permethrin
for use on clothing in areas where
deer ticks may be present. Deer ticks
can transmit Lyme Disease.

PBO - Liquid
Synergist Concentrate
P.B.O. is an emulsifiable synergist
in liquid concentrate form for use
in combination with insecticides,
especially synthetic pyrethroids,
as a tank mix to overcome resistance
that insects develop with constant
use of synthetic insecticides.
P.B.O. is
a unique tank additive that restores
activity against resistance strains
of insects. It acts by inhibiting
naturally occurring enzymes that
would otherwise degrade the insecticide
molecule.
P.B.O. breaks through the insect's
defense and its synergistic activity
makes the insecticide more powerful
and effective. With the high cost
of insecticides, P.B.O. effectively
reduces the cost per gallon of spray
solution by allowing the applicator
to use less active ingredient to
obtain the mortality rate desired.
P.B.O. will prolong the usefulness
of insecticides by overcoming resistance,
improving knockdown and increasing
kill. Improved control means fewer
applications of insecticides, thus
providing cost savings as well as
environmental benefits.
To
fill the ultimate automatic outdoor
insect control systems-
must be used with an insecticide such
as 13.3% Permethrin-
55 gallon system - 48 ounces of PBO
concentrate
PBO
is not an insecticide; it is added
for increased knockdown and kill.
